Paper, fonts and barcodes that look the part

Receipts are printed on thermal paper in a monospace font, and the small details are what sell them. Choose thermal, white or yellowed paper, narrow 58mm or standard 80mm width, and a dotted-texture font that reads like a real print head. The barcode is a genuine Code 128 render of whatever payload you enter, not a decorative stripe pattern.
